Beauty in change

Spring is that one beautiful season known for bringing joy and happiness, because it is the beginning of little yet beautiful things, it gives us so much energy and helps us to start fresh because most of the people are facing anxiety and depression during winter season and finding it hard because they can't go out that often and also because it affects their physical health, so most of us are forced to stay indoors and that affects our mental health, so the beginning of spring season is definitely something most of the people are looking forward to, it does not just helps our mental health but also helps us to work on our physical health as well, like during winter people tend to stay in cozy, eat their favorite snacks and binge watch series and shows, so during spring they can start going out for a jog, work out and maintain a proper healthy food diet. Sunshine during spring is good for skin, this is because sunlight has vitamin-D. During spring the days are longer than winter and it gets warmer.

In many countries spring is celebrated as a festival. China is most famous for it's spring festival, which is also called the lunar new year. The Chinese will celebrate the Lunar New Year on Feb 1st . It is the grandest festival in China and followed by a 7 days long holiday. That is when they do family reunions, it is just like Christmas in the west. Traditional Chinese: 拜年; pinyin: bài nián, translated: pay respect, worship, salute the year will be made to family and friends. On the first day, in the first in the morning they do is setting firecrackers, they believe that it chases away bad spirits and the they eat the first meal of the year which is as important as the reunion dinner for most of the Chinese people and then they will go and visit the oldest and senior most member of the family, they say that the visit serves to strengthen family ties. Similarly, we Indians celebrate Holi which is also called 'the festival of spring' or 'the festival of love' mostly called 'the festival of colors'. Holi is an ancient Hindu festival which is now celebrated by non-Hindu community as well. It is celebrated as a victory of good over evil and is celebrated as a day of spreading happiness and love. The festival is also celebrated as thanksgiving for good harvest. Due to the love story of Krishna and Radha, holi is also celebrated as the day of coloured love for couples. Red colour reflects fertility, blue is the colour of Krishna, yellow is the colour of turmeric, and green symbolises the start of spring and something new. It gives us so much happiness and joy to be united with our families and friends to spend the festival.
